Where Does the 1/2" Bracket Strap on Firestone Air Bags for 1965 Ford F-350 Go
Question:
I have a 1999 7.3 f350 with 1 overload spring. Does the lower mount ,using the 7inch bolt , mont to the overload spring or the whole spring pack? It says both ways.

In regards to the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2071 on a 1965 Ford F-350, the 1/2" bracket straps are placed under the main leaf spring stack when an overload spring is not present. If there is an overload spring present then you will instead place the 1/2" bracket strap under the overload spring on both sides.
