The maintenance schedule for the A-iPower 2,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # 289-SUA2000i calls for changing the engine oil after the first 5 hours of using the unit, then again after the first 25 hours, and then every 100 hours or 6 months (whichever comes first) on a regular basis.
