Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this replacement left-hand breakaway lock. This is going to replace the breakaway lock for your Titan model 10 and model 20 actuators. You can see on that image there exactly where this lock is going to be located on your actuator. So if that has become damaged, this is going to be a direct replacement from Titan.Now, this is a pretty simple little piece. So you might feel tempted to say, "I could just fabricate that myself, just bend some metal, get a cut out there." Most of you probably could, but really, I don't know that it's worth the effort to go ahead and do that.

This is a pretty inexpensive direct replacement from Titan. So you know it's going to fit exactly like the original did, and you're not going to have to worry about maybe making a wrong cut or something like that, where it could potentially damage your breakaway lock capabilities.So this is a direct replacement, like I said, from Titan. It's exactly the same as the original. It's going to make sure that that breakaway lock is functioning properly so you don't have to worry about your actuator not working in a breakaway situation to bring your trailer to a stop.
