There are a few reasons the # C74DR is the best Curt hitch, starting with the install. This hitch just bolts right into your Jeep's frame rails, without any type of drilling needed, and it really couldn't be easier. The other Curt hitch, part # CU74FR, requires you to drill a hole through your bumper cover to install.

The # C74DR has has higher capacities of 7,500 lbs towing/750 lbs tongue weight compared to the 5,000 lbs towing/500 lbs tongue weight of the # CU74FR.
