It looks like this base plate attached behind the bumper on 2007 Chevy HHR, is that correct? Will it work with a Ready Brute 2 Elite tow bar? Will I need separate Clevis?

The Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit part # DM9519196 is a confirmed fit for a 2007 Chevrolet HHR. It installs behind the bumper to the frame. In regards to tow bar compatibility, you'll have tons of options to choose from in the list below.

In order to use a Ready Brute Tow Bar you'll have to obtain the an adapter "10015" from ReadyBrake.
