Will the Quad Exhaust On A 2022 Yukon Denali Interfere With A Curt Cargo Carrier?

Do you guys think heat from a 2022 Yukon Denali’s quad exhaust pipes will be an issue with yhis rack or items on it?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Typically we recommend at least 6" of space between your tailpipes and the 19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18100 to avoid any heat transfer, so as long as your pipes are at least 6" away from the cargo carrier, you'll be good to go.
If you find out that your exhaust will sit a bit too close, you could also use a hitch extender # C45791 which will push the cargo carrier out an additional 8" for more clearance. Please note that when you use any type of hitch adapter your hitches overall capacity is reduced by 50%.
