Will the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack Clear the Ladder on a Promaster 3500 or What Can Be Done

Will the Kuat Transfer hitch bike rack fit on Promaster 3500 with driver side ladder, ie: will the bike rack clear the ladder when folded up?

Expert Reply:
When folded up, the closest part of the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # KU84FR will be 6-1/2" from the center of your hitch pin hole. More than likely, this will cause interference with your ladder.
That being said, you can use the Kuat Hi-Lo Hitch Extender # HL20B which will extend the rack out 7"-10" depending on how much you need. It will also have a 2-3/8" rise or drop, so just orientate it to the position that best suits your needs.
