Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying 2 Lectric E-Bikes
Question:
I have a 2015 Subaru Forester. We bought 2 Lectric XP 2.0 eBikes that weigh 65 lbs. each. We have a very steep driveway..so, I am concerned that the rack not drag as we start up the sharp incline. Also, I can barely lift the bikes. I will need a rack that is either low will it drag?, or tilts so I can get the bikes on the rack. We are also on a budget. Which rack do you suggest for us? Thank you

The bike racks that have ramp setups to make loading easier aren't the most budget friendly, but if you can't lift the bikes at all it would be money well spent. The Thule Easy Fold XT part # TH903202 is a really great option that I would recommend highly for e-bikes like your Lectric XP 2.0. This rack has a ramp that pulls out to make loading/unloading easier, comes with locks, and has frame clamps that were designed for the often alternative frame styles of e-bikes. It has rise built into the shank as well to help prevent it from dragging.
