Will the Demco Recon Work w/ a Fold Away Gooseball?

I have a Atwood fold away gooseneck ball. I was wondering if the demco recon will work in a 2003 chevy 2500hd extended cab with a toolbox in the bed? The Atwood ball is sitting level at the bed floor. Thank you

Yes, the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter item # DM8550045 will work with your Silverado's foldaway gooseneck ball. It will fit gooseneck balls up to 5" tall.
We had a customer send in a picture not long ago of this hitch being used in a truck bed with a truck box so you should be fine. I recommend measuring to verify since your toolbox is probably a different size. The rear bracket sits 14" from the center of the gooseneck ball and the hitch height settings are 15-1/2", 17-1/4", and 18".
