When used in conjunction with the # 3016 brake controller wiring adapter, the # 39523 brake controller would be plug and play. The controller wiring adapter would plug into the connector located in the convenience panel located behind the emergency brake pedal as shown in the provided photos. If your Silverado was not equipped with the factory 7-way, you can install the # HM40975 which would plug into the harness at the rear bumper.
