Replacement Bearing Kit For a 2003 Forest River Cherokee Travel Trailer With Tandem 3,500LB Axles  

Question:

There is no stamped numbers on old bearings. Using calibers to measure in fractions the inner seal ID 2 16/32inch the inner bearing ID is 1 3/8inch the outer bearing is 1 1/16. Could you direct me to a kit that would include the proper bearing and inner seal. I plan to replace all four wheel bearings. Thanks for any help.

It sounds like your 2003 Forest River Cherokee travel trailer has 3,500lb axles. The 3,500LB axle will commonly use an Inner Bearing # L68149(1-3/8" inner diameter), Outer Bearing # L44649(1-1/16" inner diameter) and Grease Seal # 58846(inner diameter 1.719", outer diameter 2.565"). These are all the parts used in our Bearing Kit # BK2-100. Each kit provides bearings, races, a grease seal, cotter pin and a tang washer for one hub.

The Seal Puller # PTW1219 and Install Set # PTW83020 will make swapping out your hub components much easier. I recommend using the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 with the new bearings. This grease has a superior formula that allows it to resist wear better in both hot and cold climates.
