Compatible Weight Distribution Shank For A Reese Pro Series WDS
Question:
I just purchased a Ford F-250 and I currently have a Reese Pro Series friction hitch system with a 2 inch shank. Would this shank work as a replacement for my Pro serie? My F-250 came with a class V hitch with 2.5 inch receiver.

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4900 that you mentioned will work great with your Reese Pro Series WDS.
Since your new 2022 Ford F-250 has a class V trailer hitch, with a 2-1/2" receiver, this shank will have no issues fitting in the opening.
Additionally, this shank has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 1,600-lbs, a maximum towing weight capacity of 16,000-lbs, a rise of 10", and a drop of 6".
