Air Bag Recommendation For A 2018 Ram 2500

Question:

Ok so I hate the way my 2018 2500 wigglesinch when towing and it squats more then Id like. Yes I am pretty close to max tongue weight most of the time. I am attempting to decide between the firestone air bag set up and the timber bumpstop setup. Theres only little over $100 difference in price. Any help will be appreciated

I recommend The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598 over The Timbrens # TDR2500D because they will provide a better support/ride comfort when hauling heavier loads and will also help out better with the squatting of your 2018 Ram 2500.

The Firestones have a load-leveling capacity up to 5,000 pounds and have an adjustable air pressure between 5 psi to 100 psi. Using these airbags will also improve your steering control and braking when you're hauling or towing.

To operate the airbags from inside your vehicle I also recommend using an onboard compressor kit like the Air Command Compressor System # F2610. This system will let you monitor and adjust your air springs, and has a single-path system that keeps both air springs at the same air pressure.

The compressor kit has a maximum air pressure of 120 psi.
