How to Pick Out Axle Over Under Kit for 2020 Haulmark 24 ft V Nose

Question:

Looking at flipping the axle tandem on a 2020 Halmark 24 v nose.. Any suggestions? Recommended kit? Like about 6 plus.. Thanks..

To flip the axles or move the springs from being above or below the axle to the opposite position comes down to picking the right kit based on the diameter of your axles. The Dexter Over Under Kit part # K71-384-00 that you referenced fits 2-3/8 inch diameter axles which is the common size for 3,500 lb axles and the part # K71-385-00 fits 3 inch diameter axles which is the size for axles with capacities between 5,200-6,000 lb. This will give you a change in height that is going to be the diameter of your trailer axle plus the thickness of your leaf spring's spring pack.
