How to Determine the Return Line for Transmission Cooler Installation on a 2013 Honda CRV
Question:
There are 4transmission lines coming from a transmission warmer. How can I identify which line to run to my cooler? One runs to filter and 3 run back to the transmission. One is marked with a blue stripe and 2 others red. Any guidance would be great. The install was easy, however the hose ion is very confusing.

Expert Reply:
The easiest way to determine the correct line to use for a transmission cooler install is to first start with the vehicle being cold. So letting it sit overnight or a few hours should do the trick.
Next you will want to start the vehicle, put it in drive for about 10 seconds, put it back in park, turn the vehicle off and identify oil return line by feeling both lines, the cooler of the two is the return line and the line you should install your cooler on.
