Towing Mirror Options For 2015 Sierra 3500 With Possible Ambient Temp Sensor In Mirror

I have a 2015 gmc Sierra 3500hd dually diesel, with stock tow mirrors its not the 2015.5 its the first gen 2015, I read that only the 2015.5s have the temp sensor in the mirrors and the 2015s have it in the grill is that correct?

I checked the owner's manual for your 2015 GMC Sierra 3500hd diesel, and it said some vehicles have the ambient temperature sensor in the passenger side mirror while others can have the sensor in the front grille area. You could try looking through the grille to see if you can spot the sensor (see attached photo to see what the sensor looks like) or contact GMC.

If you can't see the sensor in the grille, then I would assume it is in the mirror since most websites state the 2015 diesel models likely have it in the mirror.
