Trailer Hitch For A 2009 Ford F-250 With An Eagle Lift Tailgate
Question:
I have a 2009 F250 Super duty long bed and I need a hitch. The problem I might have is I have an eagle lift tailgate on the truck and I am not certain about clearances to mount a hitch. I bought the truck used so I dont have much detail beyond that. Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Per Curt most of the time, trailer hitches and lift gates are not compatible with each other, but with a little measuring you can find out if the Curt # C15410 hitch would work for you.
The rear most mounting hole to the end of the receiver tube is 10-7/8 inches. If you can measure out 10-7/8 inches and the distance is not too far for your Eagle Lift Gate to still work then the hitch is good to go.
The trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a black powder coat finish that covers the e-coat base and offers great rust protection.
