Upper Bracket Interferes with MORryde Steel Tubing On Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers
Question:
Hello. We just purchased a brand new 2022 Jayco Pinnacle Fifth wheel. I bought your RoadMaster shock kit too add to the suspension. This morning while crawling underneath the trailer, I noticed that the Shock upper bracket mount will not fit because Jayco has welded a 3 inch tubular steel under the I beam frame to add strength for the Moryde 3000 System. How do I mount the upper shock bracket to this 3 inch tubular steel? Thank you

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers mount inside the frame so if you have any obstructions on the frame rail inside they are not going to work correctly without modifications. We don't have any workarounds for this unfortunately but a local fabrication shop may. That said, if you are not looking to outsource the installation we have still may have another option for you in the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit, part # LC281255 for 2-3/8" axles or part # LC281281 for 3" axles. These shocks bolt to the outside of the frame so as long as you have the clearance they should work.
Unfortunately, it's not really possible to say for certain whether "x" part will work on "y" trailer because there are too many variables "z" so there is always going to be some degree of fit checking by the end user to ensure compatibility.
