Troubleshooting Leveling Jacks Extending On It's Own On A 2005 Itasca Sunova

Question:

When I turn the power on with the touch pad the rear drivers side jack starts extending on its own without touching any other buttons. The only way to stop it is to turn the power back off. Then I have to turn it back on and and hit the all up button to get the jack back up. After this when I turn the power off and back on the rear jack starts extending again so I have to repeat process all over. Does this sound like a control board issue?

It does sound like a control board issue, however before you replace your control board I recommend inspecting your wiring as well as your ground connections.

You'll want to ensure that they are in good condition (no breaks or frays) and that the ground isn't loose. A lot of times something as simple as a loose wire or a broken connection somewhere in your wiring is the root of your issue.

If your wiring checks out, then I recommend replacing your control board. If you have the Level Best system, then you can use the Replacement Touchpad Control Panel for Kwikee Level Best Hydraulic RV Leveling System for Winnebago # LC77CJ, or if you have the Ground Control 2.0/3.0, you can use # LC421484.
