How To Power 12v Power Circuit of 7-way Connector ETBC7L on 2020 Hyundai Palisade
Question:
Hi this is in reference to the expert reply by: Chris R entitled Adding 7-Way Connector to 2020 Hyundai Palisade. I want to do this and install the 7 pin Wiring Kit # ETBC7L and use the Curt Echo # C51180. He says I have to activateinch the 12 Volt circuit. How will I do this without running a wire from the front of the car? I assume I will not use the wire to the controller since I am using the Curt Echo # C51180? Any tips on how to do the wiring on the Wiring Kit # ETBC7L . Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
To activate the 12v power pin of the # ETBC7L on your 2020 Hyundai Palisade your only option is running the included wire from the 7-way to the battery of your vehicle with the included 30 amp circuit breaker. While it can be a little intimidating running a wire that far under your car, there is no other way to get the Curt Echo # C51180 to work as it requires that circuit.
I included a video showing the # ETBC7L being installed on a 2020 Kia Telluride for you to take a look at.
