Is B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Compatible With Air Lift Air Bags on 2017 Ford F-150 4x4

Question:

I have a 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat with a 5 1/2 ft bed. Am interested in Air Lift 5000 Air Bags AL57385 and BW Gooseneck BW77FR. Can they both be installed on the pickup without any interference? Or . . . is that only possible with the Draw Tite gooseneck hitch? Thanks for your help

Yes they are; the Air Lift air bags and B&W gooseneck hitch that fit your 2017 Ford F-150 4x4 are absolutely compatible with each other. The part numbers are the following:

- B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BW77FR

- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Springs # AL57385

You made a couple of superb choices here as this is the highest-quality gooseneck towing setup you can get for your '17 F-150. The Turnoverball is the best in the industry, as it is constructed with the quality that B&W is known for, and has a unique hitch ball with a square base that ensures the ball more stable - and quiet - than any other hitch. And these Air Lift bags are also very high quality with stainless steel, rust proof plates and braided stainless steel air lines.

With a 5-1/2 foot bed on your F-150, I do recommend gaining extra clearance, either 10 inches with the B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler # BWTEXA4200 (which fits a standard 4" diameter tube) or the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # BWGNXA4085.

Finally, during the installation of these air bags, you are going to want to ensure your air lines are cut perfectly straight, and the best way to do this is by using the Air Hose Cutter # AL1053.

Also, I do highly recommend considering a compressor in order to make both monitoring and maintaining the air bags much easier. The best option to do so is a wireless compressor, the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Bluetooth - EZ Mount # AL25980EZ.
