How to Replace 4-Way Cover on Tekonsha T-One Wiring
Question:
Hi, I bought T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item #118776 The item is great, except it now is missing the cover on the connector for the trailer. It is totally unclear what happened, I just noticed one day when I went to hook up the trailer that it was gone. Im not sure what to do, and if it is covered under warranty? I can send a photo, if you want. Thanks

The cover for the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118776 is molded to the connector so I doubt it would be covered under warranty just because you'd have to essentially cut it off for it to fail - but you're more than welcome to pursue a warranty claim if you'd like.
Since that's such a small part of the wiring harness though I don't think going through the trouble of replacing the whole unit would be worth it and instead I recommend just picking up a replacement cover like what we find with the Curt # C58200. This is a cost-effective solution that is much less hassle than removing the connectors behind your taillights and cutting/splicing the 12V power wire.
Adding Dielectric Grease # 11755 to the connector will further help protect it against damage and corrosion.
