As long as your copy of the owner's manual for your 1988 Honda Accord says it's okay to flat tow your vehicle then we have the parts you'll need to do so. I don't have access to that old of a manual to check on my end.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. For your motorhome you need to make sure it has a hitch rated for the curb weight of your Accord (which should be about 2,568 lbs) and a wiring connection for the lights.

Here are the parts I recommend for your Accord:

Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - # BX2210
etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - # e47ZR (includes safety cables)
Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights - # TL21RK
Brake Buddy Classic 3 Brake System - # HM39494
High-Low Adapter - (see attached article)

This is the most cost-effective setup that we have for your vehicle and the lights and brake kit are removable so you don't have them permanently mounted in your smaller vehicle. Some people ask if the brake system is necessary and while some states don't require smaller vehicles to have one installed, the rules will vary state to state and since most require one it's best practice just to have on installed so you can freely travel and be able to apply the brakes in your Accord in an emergency situation if needed.

Attached are some videos for you to check out. If you don't have a hitch or wiring on your motorhome you'll be looking at universal parts like the Curt Hitch # C13704 and powered wiring like part # C59496 for vehicles with separate brake and turn light circuits. I recommend having a shop install these parts if you're unfamiliar with it or you haven't done too much DIY projects on vehicles.
