BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover For a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 6-1/2' Short Bed

Question:

Is there a model Bak Flip MX-4 cover that will fit a 2005 Dodge 3500, short bed? I have a 5th wheel hitch to tow a 5th wheel tr. I need some clearance between the edge of the folded cover and the hitch and front of the 5th wheel tr. Please provide comments.

The BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK48203 will fit your 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup with the 6-1/2' short bed. I reached out to BAK for the measurement to use the cover with your 5th wheel. They informed me from the back of your cab the edge of the cover folded to the single panel laying flat will be approximately 23". You will need to measure the position of your 5th wheel hitch along with the pin box when attached to determine if you will be able to leave it folded in this position when towing your 5th wheel.

We do have the BAKBox 2 Collapsible Truck Bed Toolbox # BAK92201 that you can use with this cover. The box allows you to hold up to 400lbs of additional cargo and is only 10" tall and 10" deep.
