Does RV Need to Have Dual Stage Regulator or Can Single Stage Work

Question:

Hello, my New low psi secondary regulator has a 140,k btu output and single stage to replace the one that was leaking. Now the two stage 342k btu Main regulator wont switch over to the secondary and, the pressure is very low coming out of the secondary compared to the main psi. faulty second regulator? I question about needing a second regulator on my dual tank fifth wheel because my cab over regulator has two connections that allows both tanks be connected. I am looking at the camco 59013 regulator if I have to have a second regulator.

A single stage regulator can work just fine like with the Camco Regulator part # CAM59013 that you referenced. But if there's a very large distance between the tank and the appliances that is when a dual stage regulator makes the most sense like with a dual stage regulator part # 108220.
