Can Two 100 amp Batteries Wired in Parallel be Charged with 60 Amp Charger
Question:
My motorhome has two lithium batteries wired in parallel. They are each rated at 54 Ah, 100 total amps, 20A standard charging current and 56A max charging current each. Do these ratings double when connected in parallel? Can I use a 60 amp converter/charger to charge these batteries?

When you wire batteries in parallel their amperage doubles but not their voltage. So in your case you have 108 total amps available and a 60 amp charger like the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power Converter # PD9160ALV would work great with them wired in parallel since it would be charging both of them. This charger can easily work with Lithium batteries too as that's what charging profile it was set up for.
