How do I find out weather my Sorrento is equipped with the factory tow package or not ? I am not sure which harness to purchase.

The best way to verify if you have the factory tow package wiring is by visually finding the wiring on your 2011 Kia Sorento. The wiring is located on the drivers side behind the rear tire(see image). There may be a protective cover that will need to be removed to access the wiring. The connectors will allow you to install the 4-Way T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118269 or 7-Way Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK24FR.
If you do not have the factory tow package wiring you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118506 to get a 4-way flat connector.
The Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # 18140 will allow you to secure either 4-way connection to the receiver. If you are using the 7-way you will need the Mounting Brackets # PK12711U and # 18140.
