Weight Distribution Shank Needed For a 6" Drop With a Fastway E2 Trunnion Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
I intend to buy the FA 9200-0450 .. Im wondering if the shaft of the FA 92 00-0450 is long enough. When both the trailer and vehicle are leveled these are the measurements. From the ground to the top of the receiver hitch of my jeep is 22-1/2 From the ground to under the coupler of the trailer its 17-1/2 which is a 5 inch difference What would you suggest . Thank You

Helpful Expert Reply:
To level your trailer using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0450 you will need to replace the shank that comes with the hitch system with the Shank # EQ90-02-4300. This shank is capable of a 6" drop while the shank that comes with the hitch will only give you up to a 2" drop.
You will need a 2" Hitch Ball # 40038 to match your coupler.
