How much clearance is between the hitch and the ground after installation?

When we installed the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH25VR on a 2019 BMW X5 in our shop we found it to have approximately 11-1/2" of ground clearance with the receiver tube installed. This can vary from vehicle to vehicle depending on tire sizes and trim level. And when you remove the receiver tube it will not affect your ground clearance.
I recommend getting the Carrying Case # 391CASEC to hold the ball mount and receiver connections. This will ensure your parts are always together and not rattling around in you X5.
