Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for 2017 Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler need a trailer hitch and wiring for a seven pin trailer plug do you all still install as well?

For a great hitch for your 2017 Jeep Wrangler, I recommend the Draw-Tite - 2" # DT78MR. This hitch provides you with the highest weight ratings out of all the hitches we carry for your vehicle. It also comes with a super easy installation process that takes only about 30 minutes to complete. It is important to note that you will need to remove tow hooks (if you have any) and remove any crossmembers that interfere (if present).

As far as the wiring, in order to install a 7-way harness, you need a 4-way harness installed already. If you need the 4-way, that is the Tekonsha T-One Harness # 118416. Once the 4-way is installed, you are ready for the 7-pin plug. That is the Universal Installation Kit - 7-Way # ETBC7. With this harness, you will be able to splice-in the 7-way wiring into your current wiring.

If you need a brake controller recommendation, I recommend the Curt Echo # C51180. Not only is the Echo compatible with your smart device via Bluetooth, it also does not require any additional wiring in order to function; it is truly a plug-and-play controller.
