Determining The Correct Hydraulic Slide-Out Cylinder For A 2017 Forest River XLR Thunderbolt

Question:

I have a customer that I am replacing the right-side pop-out cylinder for a 2017 XLR thunderbolt, and I can partially see the LCI part number. Looks like either a 3795 or 3785 cant tell. but, i measured the body of the cylinder and its 32inch long. At the end of cylinder, the stud is ~ 2.5inch and with the cylinder rod fully inside the body, i measure ~ 8 and1/4inch from the end of the rod to the body. Just wanting to make sure i get the right cylinder. VIN number is 4X4FXL839HF163125 Also, I am looking to buy a factory service manual and wiring diagram for this 5th wheel. Thank you,

To find the correct replacement Hydraulic Cylinder for the slide out of the 2017 Forest River XLR Thunderbolt you'll need to measure the distance from the center of the port to the center of the other port.

Since you measured 32" I'm assuming you'll need the Lippert Replacement Hydraulic Cylinder for RV Slide-Out # LC42FR which has a port to port length of 31-1/2", but I highly recommend remeasuring the find the correct fit.
