Is The Solera 18V Power RV Awning Compatible With A 2016 Fleetwood Bounder 35K Motorhome

Hi, I have a 2016 Fleetwood bounder 35k with a Carefree Freedom Freestyle arm less patio awning. Will this work on this Rv? Thank you

The Solera 18V Power RV Awning # LC729505 is designed to bolt to the side of the RV so you would be making new holes in your motorhome's walls. You'll just need to ensure that the awning arms aren't going to interfere with anything on the side of your motorhome (doors, windows, etc.).

The 18' length is from the center of one arm to the center of the other arm (pictured below). The arms are approximately 3" wide so you'll want to do some measuring to ensure the arms are not going to contact anything else.

I recommend contacting Fleetwood as they should be able to give you a dimensional drawing which will show you where your wall studs are located to help ensure your awning is properly mounted.

Other than that there should be no issues installing this awning, especially since it runs off of an 18v battery so you won't have to run any wires. I do recommend using some butyl tape # AL28FJ on the back of the arms to help seal up the mounting screw holes and prevent any leaks.
