Compatibility of Kodiak Disc Brakes With Tie Down 660 Surge Brake Actuator?
Question:
Will Kodiak disc brakes for 3500# axle work with a Tie Down 660 Surge actuator?
asked by: William H
Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R35D will work with your Tie Down 660 surge brake actuator. Do ensure that your actuator is rated for use with disc brakes as your actuator can be used with disc or drum brakes depending on what master cylinder it has.
We do have the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator # 099-175-20 you can switch to if your actuator is only compatible with drum brakes. This has the same mounting bolt pattern and 2" ball coupler for the Tie Down 660.
