I would be happy to answer your question. The answer will depend on the height of your trailer's coupler though. I will start by confirming the the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13269 does fit your 2018 Jeep Renegade. The distance from the ground to the bottom of the receiver is 8". You will need to measure your trailer's coupler to determine how much rise or drop you will need. I have linked a help article below that will walk you through the steps. I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case. If you find out you need some rise or drop then you will want the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches item # 2753. It has a- 2-3/4" Rise, 4" Drop. You will also need the item # A-90 Hitch Ball.
You are also going to want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118651. This wiring harness will allow you to control your trailer's lighting functions.
