Front Mount Hitch Recommendation for at 2007 Chevy Silverado 3500 That Accommodates Light Bar

Question:

I WANT TO INSTALL A FRONT HITCH TO ACCOMODATE MY FISHING BASKET. I HAVE A FRONT LIGHT BAR ALREADY ON THE TRUCK. IT IS A RANDY ELLIS LIGHT BAR I ALSO HAVE A BANKS COLD AIR INTAKE UNDER THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FRONT BUMPER. DO YOU MAKE ONE THAT WILL FIT WITH THE LIGHT BAR ALREADY ON IT? DO YOU MAKE ONE THAT ATTACHES TO THE FRONT TOW HOOKS? 2008 CHEVY SILVERADO 3500. THANK YOU

We have two front mount hitches that are confirmed as a fit for your 2007 Chevy Silverado 3500. Both of these hitches are installed directly to the vehicle frame. We do not offer a front hitch that mounts directly to the front tow hooks, but both of the front hitches mount below the tow hook locations.

As long as the light bar that you already have installed on your truck and the cold air intake do not block access to the underside of the tow hook locations then either of these front mounted hitches should work for you.

The front mount hitch that you referenced is the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 65050 is considered a fit for your vehicle. Depending on the trim option of your truck you may have to modify or trim the front fascia of your truck. Please note this hitch has a vertical load limit of 500 pounds.

The front mounted hitch that is confirmed as a fit for your 2008 Chevy 3500 is the Curt # 31109. THis hitch may also require some fascia trimming depending on the configuration of your truck. This hitch also has a vertical load limit of 500 pounds.

I have included links to the parts referenced above as well as some install videos for your reference.
