Will TruRyde Dust Cap Covers part # DC200L-DCRP Stay Installed
Question:
I have a 1997 Four Winns dual axle boat trailer. I went through the wheel bearings last fall and replaced the dust caps with new ones I purchased at Tractor supply. My axles have grease zerks in the ends so I need the dust covers with the rubber caps. I noticed 2 of the caps were crooked and made sure they were all seated squarely with a plastic hammer before my first short trip and still lost one going over the first railroad track. I believe the parts I purchased at Tractor Supply were low quality.junk Have you had any issues with you dust caps coming loose? I have been working on vehicles for 45 years and I am confident I can install a dust cap correctly.

Our TruRyde dust cap covers like the part # DC200L-DCRP which fits hub bores of right at 1.99 inch have not had issues falling off like what you described. I would feel very confident recommending this cover as one that would stay installed.
