The Fit Dial setting of the Thule Passage 2 Bike Rack, # TH911XT, that you will want to use for your 2011 Kia Soul is 11. The lower arm of the carrier should be placed on the upper tier of the rear bumper and the straps should be placed at the top, side and bottom edges of the rear hatch.

If you plan on carrying any womens, childrens or alternative style bike frames, I recommend looking at a bike adapter bar like part # TH982XT. Bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and can cause ground clearance issues. This adapter bar will allow you to load your bikes easily and safely.
