Is Initial Adjustment Required on Nev-R-Adjust Trailer Brake Assemblies
Question:
john you said in a article about electric brakes never adjust you only need to adjust them if you want to ? they will adjust them selfs for the first time? Thanks for any help

Nev-R-Adjusts will adjust themselves and do not technically need an initial adjustment, but they will take a few times of having the brakes applied before they will be set properly.
So its not technically required that you do the initial adjustment, but it is recommended just for safetys sake. Check out the video I attached that shows how to do initial adjustments on a Nev-R-Adjust assembly.
Basically you would just tighten the adjuster until a slight drag is felt on the wheel and then leave it there.
