Recommended Solera Slide-Out Awning for 12’10” Flange-To-Flange

Question:

Hello, I am looking at your Solera RV slide-out awnings. I was wondering why the 13’1” black- LCV000168109 is more expensive than the larger 13’7” black- LCV000168110? I would actually rather have the 13’7” for more coverage if the mounting arms have enough adjustment to reach. My slide out is 12’10” flange to flange, which falls within the recommended range of the 13’1” model, just wondering if there is enough adjustment length of the hex arms for the larger 13’7” for added coverage on either side of my slide out. All the info I’ve read says to make sure you order a “minimum” two and a half inches overhang on either said, but nowhere have I found a “maximum”.

For your slide out that measures 12'-10" (154 inches) I recommend the 13'-1" wide option. This is available in either white or black, part numbers below.

- Black: Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168109
- White: Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163300

The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning at 13'7", # LCV000163301 for white and # LCV000168110 for black, I think will be too long. The awning rail on these options is 163" wide and that is just a little too much width for a good fit of the mounting bracket for me to recommend.

As to why the variance in cost, this particular occasion is most likely the result in a price change from our supplier for the one lot relative the cost for another lot. Warehoused items are priced but the cost on reorder may change, we do not go back and raise the prices on what is already in stock on relative items.
