Can Trailer Leaf Springs Move Above Axles to Gain Ground Clearance
Question:
Hi. My boat trailer has the axle mounted on top of the leaf spring. Can I switch the axle to under the spring to give more clearance in the wheel wells? Thanks!

Yes you can use an over under kit like the part # K71-385-00 to move your axles from being on top of the leaf spring to below which will give you additional ground clearance like you are wanting. This kit fits 3 inch diameter axles which is a very common size for axles that are between 5,200 and 7,000 lb capacity.
