Adjustable Ball Mount with 2 inch Hitch Ball that has 10k Capacity
Question:
Hi there, Im looking at buying the MaxxTow Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount for 2 Hitches - 5-3/4 /Rise - Solid Shank, but reading into it, it sais the 2 ball can only carry 6000 lbs gross trailer weight. I have a 26 snowmobile trailer that we use for films, and its often loaded up to nearly the trailer max of 10000 lbs total. Because this seems like such a solid hitch, im wondering why the 2 ball is limited to 6000 lbs? Would it still wotk for my needs?

The smaller the hitch ball diameter the smaller the neck of the ball which then means it has less material thickness to support the weight of heavier trailers. But I do have a solution with the Pro Series Adjustable Three Ball Mount part # 63070 which has a 10k capacity when used with the 2 inch hitch ball. This is only option we have that has the capacity you'd need for the 2 inch ball.
