Roadmaster quotes the installation time of the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523182-5 at 3 hours, however that is with their installers who pretty experienced and they know how to install these base plate kits quickly.
An inexperienced installer can expect to take a bit more time.
If you're interested in a complete setup, you're going to need:
-A set of tow bars like # RM-677,
-A braking system # HM39524,
&
-A wiring kit like # RM-154.
