Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Chevy Camaro Convertible
Question:
You state that model number 24850 will not fit the 2012 Camaro convertable. Why not and do you have a model that will?
asked by: Tony D
Expert Reply:
The frame on the convertible models has some differences with regular hardtop models and some hitches will not fit. We do have a trailer hitch that you can use on your convertible 2012 Chevy Camaro as long as it does not have the ground effects package. You can use Curt trailer hitch # C11222.
If you plan on doing some towing first consult the vehicle owners manual to make sure it is permissible to do so. The correct ball mount for this hitch and vehicle is # C45520. You will also need pin and clip # PC2. For a ball use # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 19258 for a 2 inch.
