Parts Needed for Towing a Trailer with a 2019 Ford Flex
Question:
I’m trying to put together a class III tow package for my 2019 Ford Flex sel. Would I just need to class 3 receiver or would I also need weight distribution and sway control? I am pulling a small travel trailer wet weight of 2600lbs.

I recommend using the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75679 and the T-One Wring # 118472 for your 2019 Ford Flex. This gives you a Class III hitch as well as wiring to run the basic light functions on your trailer.
You probably don't need a weight distribution system for such a light trailer but if you really want one I recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW0353 which is intended for light-duty trailers and comes with a 2-5/16" hitch ball. For just a ball mount kit you can use the Kit # EBMK4.
I also saw that for trailers over 1,500 lbs Ford recommends using a brake controller. If your trailer has brakes to utilize I recommend installing the 7-Way Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L and using the Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 so you don't have to route any wiring into the cab of your vehicle.
