Does Bump Stop Have to be Used When Installing Dexter Over Under Suspension Kit

Question:

My 5th wheel has a Morryde LRE rubberized suspension and I am in the process of installing a Dexter over/under kit to gain more clearance. In the installation instructions it recommends using a bump stop also. I contacted both Morryde and Dexter but neither had a kit that would work. My question is do I need bump stop with this style of suspension and if so could you recommend one.

Dexter "highly" recommends using a bump stop of some kind when installing their over under kits like the # K71-385-00 that you referenced. It is not an absolute requirement but if you do not have much suspension travel currently it might be a good idea. You could use a Timbren kit like the part # TTRA1032 which would act as a jounce/bump stop.
