First I recommend using the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-524431-5 for your 2020 Ford F-150. I have found the Roadmaster parts to be the best quality over time. When this was installed on a truck with 275/55R20 tires the arms were 15-3/4" high. You will need to find the height of your motorhome receiver to determine if you need a High-Low Adapter like the 4" # RM-048-4 to keep the bars within 3" of level. If you need help confirming what you need for this please send me your receiver height with the tire size on your F-150.

The Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-422 is rated for 10,000lbs of maximum towing weight. This is more than enough for your F-150 as most people will carry additional gear in their truck that doesn't easily fit in their motorhome. The RoadMaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain Combo Towing Kit # RM-9243-3 will come with the wiring, safety cables, locks, cover, and storage bag you will need. You will need to use the diodes in the kit for your wiring.

A Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 is required as your truck and Supplemental Braking System will pull power from the battery while towing. The braking system is going to be required due to the weight of your truck. If you have a motorhome with air brakes I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # DM26VR. This ties into your air brakes and will only activate the brakes in your F-150 when the motorhome brakes are used. For a motorhome with hydraulic brakes the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR will be the one you need. This system checks for both brake light activation and the inertia of braking before it activates the brakes. This prevents false braking when covering the brakes on hills or coasting to a stop.
