Replacement 26 Eye to Eye Leaf Spring
Question:
I have a trailer built by US Tower in August of 2015. It is a 9,995 GVWR 5050 GAWR each axle One of the leaf springs has broken. It measures 26inch eye to eye 1 3/4inch wide 1/2inch bolt in the eye and the present configuration has 4 leaves. Can you advise which of your leaf springs will be the best match to replace the existing leaf spring?

I would be happy to help you. To replace your leaf spring you will want the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,500-lb Trailer Axles - 26" Long item # e27SR. These springs have 6 leafs over your current 4 leafs but are 26" eye to eye and have a spring width of 1-3/4". It is recommended to change both springs on the axle if you have to change one side.
