In order to add a 7-way to your 2019 Honda Passport you need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118291. This plugs into the OEM tow package wiring harness on your vehicle so not cutting or splicing is required. The wiring harness also comes with the fuses needed to activate the functions for the 7-way to work properly. I recommend this over other options since we have found Tekonsha to be the most reliable when it comes to wiring.

In order to use your electric brakes you will also need a brake controller. I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180. This plugs in-line with the 7-way at the back so you won't have a brake controller taking up space in the vehicle. The braking power is controlled via the app on your phone. The app also works as a manual override, but if you prefer a physical button you can use the # C83HR.
