I have confirmed with my technical contact at Pro Series and the Weight Distribution system that you referenced, the # C17322, can be used with a 2 inch trailer ball.

This assembly comes equipped with a 2-5/16 inch trailer ball that is 2-1/2 long, and has a 1-1/4 inch shank diameter. It is rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 pounds if only the ball mount head assembly is used, but rated for 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight when using the entire weight distribution system. Make sure that the 2 inch diameter trailer ball the you plan to use meets these criteria, and make sure that the trailer ball is torqued to the proper specifications according to the trailer ball manufacturer. If you are needing a trailer ball the Curt # A-90 that we offer would meet this criteria.

You never want to exceed the lowest rated component within the towing system and since you will be changing out the trailer ball on this weight distribution set up you will want to make sure that the replacement trailer ball meets the same weight capacities as the one that is included with the Pro Series weight distribution system.

I have included links to that parts listed above a video of the weight distribution system being installed as well as a helpful article regarding trailer balls and weight distribution for your reference.
