Will Trailer Wiring Harness # C55375 Work with a Wishbone Style 4-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
My OLD ...18 or so year old trailer has a harness end with 5 wires but going to 4 pins. Will that work with this wiring harness and if not which one will?......Thanks #C55375.....Simple lite duty trailer with 2 combination lights

Expert Reply:
What your trailer has is called a wishbone harness. It has 2 separate wires for the running light circuits, one for each side of the trailer. This is done so you do not have to splice a jumper from one side of the trailer to the other. It will work exactly the same way a regular 4-Way does so it is compatible with T-Connector harness # C55375. I have linked a video showing a typical installation and a link to the instructions for you.
